About the Angel Cake Company

Angel Cake Company is a family run business and was founded in 2007 by mother and daughter team Pauline Hamriding and Nicci Campbell.  We have been in the business of creating celebration cakes for more than thirty years.

We were fortunate to find our current base in Poundbury, and have been delighted that in close proximity our neighbours include a florist, wedding organiser, bridal-wear boutique, photographer, wine shop, hairdresser and many other related businesses. And although we specialise in designing, making, decorating and delivering wedding cakes we are skilful in producing original celebration cakes for any occasion – birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events – reproducing relevant and innovative modelling and decoration.
 

We endeavour to carry a comprehensive and diverse stock of sugarcraft supplies which we update frequently. We are happy to offer helpful advice by phone or email and to post items to our customers on receipt of a phone call and card payment.

Our Designers

Currently our design team is a sister duo who compliment each other in their sugarcraft skills repertoire.

Nicci, who has been designing and producing celebration cakes since she was 12, is skilled in modelling and sculpting in sugar. Since gaining a 2:1 degree from Bournemouth University she has been successfully self-employed for 18 years as a chef caterer and cake designer culminating in the Angel Cake Company shop and design centre.

Emma with a design, silver crafting and retail management background, joined the team in 2008. Her knowledge of colour, lettering, fine precision piping, eye for detail and graphic design skills have extended the range of sugarcraft capabilities of the company.
